I read everything. Please include your device and iOS version, and — if the colony is doing something odd — what the Supply screen says.
Open Supply. It says what is wrong in plain English, and the card at the bottom of the Colony screen names the most urgent thing with a button that goes to the fix. The usual culprits, in order: power short so everything runs slowly, food running out so nobody works, or nowhere left to put people.
That is a brownout, and it is the game telling you something rather than a bug. Power demand has passed supply, so every building is running at a fraction of its rate. Buy power and the colony speeds back up.
Your ore store is probably full — Supply will say piling up. Everything mined past the cap is wasted. Build a Silo, or spend it.
They have no workstation to stand at. Build something with worker slots, or fill an existing plot further.
The game saves to your device continuously and keeps a backup copy alongside it, so a crash should never cost you more than a few seconds. If the app tells you your colony could not be read, do not delete the app — email me first, because the files are still there and deleting the app deletes them.
Not planned. The game is built directly on Apple's frameworks.
Correct — Idle Colony is still in development. This page is here so that support and privacy have a permanent home while it is built.
